Translation notes
In my opinion, this song describes the flow of life, according to the author there is determined path for the humans, they have a role they have to fulfill and they are pushed by a force; there is a “cell division” that maybe refers to evolution of humans. Each life has a path to follow and they all have an ending, that is prearranged, but the human ego and emotions can change this scenery in any way they wish; but the song also emphasizes that there is an ending, I guess referring to human life which will eventually end when someone dies; but that ending can change according to how one lives their life.
At some point, the author encourages to just surrender to the flow of things until the end arrives (the death moment). Regardless of what the humans do, the creation and destruction will continue.
Some interesting points is the usage of 否応なく which is an adverb with a complex meaning of something that happen whether we want it or not, without having much choice, this word is used when talking about the regenerating cells that push our back.
In the line “予告もなく終わり示すその時まで” I translated it as the “until the time when it shows the ending without a previous notice”, this basically refers to the final moment that shows up without being announced, like the moment of death, usually you don’t know when it will happen and it shows up “unannounced”.
In the last paragraph, in the line “限りのある物語” this refers to a story that has a limit, meaning human life that has an ending (because humans are not immortal), so I translated that as “the story that has an ending”, I could have used limited story..? 🙂 but I thought it sounds weird in English.
