Angelo acoustic live streaming announced in June 2020

The Jrock visual kei band Angelo has announced that they will perform an acoustic live on June 7th at 17:30 Japan time from their rehearsal studio and this will be streamed live from an online platform called ZAIKO.

ZAIKO is an E-ticket service platform from Asia (Japan and Singapore based), where artists can launch their streaming content and participants can buy tickets. According to Kirito’s comments in his blog, he mentioned that he was looking for a platform that could provide HD content, and this is why this was chosen.

For overseas fans this is great news because ZAIKO is extremely friendly for people from all over the world, it has many payment options available, such as Paypal, Alipay, WeChat, etc. and also accepts credit cards worldwide so people from any country can buy tickets, opposite to other platforms such as niconico where only Japanese citizens can buy tickets for special events or WOWOW which is not available for overseas fans either. I was also surprised that my country was in the list when I registered my account…. since my country is small, sometimes pages don’t even include it on the list! 😦

Going back to the actual event, the price of the ticket is 1,800 yen which is around 17 US dollars, and the streaming will be available to watch for 3 days until June 10th at 19:30 Japan time, this is useful for those who are in different timezones from Japan and can’t join the streaming during the live phase.

Also, the platform gives you the option to “toss coins” for the artists, the idea of this is similar to when there are street performers and the audience give voluntary money to them, so it’s entirely option but a very nice addition for fans who want to support the artist, giving you the option to offer 500 yen, 1000 yen, 5000 yen or 10,000 yen.

Tickets can be purchased from the Angelo’s event page in Zaiko, and you must register an account first before proceeding with the ticket purchase.

Be sure to support Angelo!
