I’ve been a bit busy recently since the pandemic started in my country, my work suddenly increased, but thankfully me and my family are okay for now, and I want to update this page more often.
Recently Kirito from the VK band Angelo has been doing Youtube Broadcast every Saturday at 22:00 Japan time in his Official Youtube Channel, where he has been talking about the pandemic situation, and there was a sudden broadcast last Tuesday where he announced the cancellation of the upcoming nationwide tour “Mephisto Rebellion“, I’m working on translating that video because I think it had very good messages from Kirito, so I hope I can post it soon, and in regards to lyrics translations, after that I will begin translating the RESONANCE songs, so please look forward to it ^^.
In the meantime, fans of Kirito should not miss the broadcast from today’s morning, for a refreshing change between all the bad news we have recently, Kirito decided to give a call to other fellow bandsmen and talk with them during the Youtube broadcast, but before starting with the calls, Kirito didn’t waste the chance to reference to his hoodie jacket, he jokingly said that this is the type of jacket that visual kei band members of advanced age use, then he said the name of the jacket could be referred as “PKVB” (パーカー高齢V系バンドマン: Parker Kourei Visualkei Bandomen).
Then the first call was to Jun, ex-PIERROT and current Braymen‘s leader, the conversation was very nostalgic for those who used to be PIERROT fans, it almost seemed like the radio show they used to have back in the days, Kirito promoted Jun’s official Youtube channel too, he asked Jun to give him a call during his next broadcast, apparently Jun is doing broadcasts in Youtube everyday and also his cute cat is featured frequently, so the next broadcast is Tomorrow! it was very cute when Jun introduced himself as “Jun from Braymen” Kirito then corrected him and said “you’re also Jun from PIERROT”, another highlight moment from the conversation was that Kirito thinks all the PIERROT members are now old men, except for Aiji who “has not changed at all”, Kirito also mentioned that although people might be surprised about this call, he reassured the fans that he and Jun speak very frequently and are in very good terms.
After that, the next call was with Allen, he usually works with Kirito’s solo work as drummer, and he is also member of a band called “Serenity in Murder“, Kirito explained that Allen is a Japanese who is also half-american, but that he thinks like Japanese and is very hardworking, he is also the one who introduced Kirito to the world of Youtube, so we are very grateful for this.
The next call was to Umi, he does guitar for Kirito’s solo work and he is also the guitarist of the visual kei band “Vistlip”, Kirito asked Umi about his ramen obsession, and another highlight was that Kirito thanked him for being a good senpai to Giru, however Umi complained that he is actually younger than Giru (Giru was born in 1980 and Umi in 1983), Kirito was surprised and mentioned that Umi looks older.
And the last call was to Masa, he does bass for Kirito’s solo work and he’s also the bassist of the visual kei metal band “NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST”, the highlights about this conversation were focused on muscles, apparently Masa who likes to go out frequently at night, is now at home due to the situation going on, and he was playing piano at late night with a tank top, they were joking this is very “romantic”, and Kirito asked Masa how is Hiro doing (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST’S vocalist), and then jokingly asked if his muscles are real, as Hiro is known for being very muscular, then the conversation switched a bit about exercises routines; Masa also mentioned that his birthday was 2 weeks ago on April 2nd, apparently Kirito didn’t know so he wished him a happy birthday.
Kirito told Allen, Umi and Masa that he was looking forward to work with them again after the pandemic situation is over, so with this comment we can expect more solo work activities at some point.
Another important announcement is that the next Youtube broadcast on Saturday will be together with the Angelo members! each of them using Zoom, probably at the same time as always 22:00, so let’s look forward to that!
