Here comes the third song from Angelo’s FAUST album, the song is called “HYBRID CENTURY“. This song was composed by Karyu. All lyrics by Kirito.

Translation notes: This is a short song with lots of English portions already. I took the liberty to add some assumptions in parenthesis for the sake of the song to make sense, Kirito doesn’t specify but it’s very easy to assume what he’s referring to from context, so I added it so it’s easier to understand.

About the song itself, we can see that Faust is already in the created world from his fantasies, after accepting Mephisto’s offer. There’s no common sense in this world, he somehow sees himself as a ghost already, his heart is injured but he continues to go in this direction of self-destruction. We are introduced to a new character as well, someone he wants to take with him to this new world, and because of this someone, he is also able to walk forward to whatever the future awaits for our protagonist. It’s getting very interesting ^^.

Also, the verses that are fully in English, I think these are are depicting Mephisto’s promises, maybe it’s told from his point of view as well, saying that this is promised world where Faust can have all his dreams come true, but then we see the contrast with the Japanese verses showing there’s pain and inner conflict as well, so those are from Faust’s point of view.
