I decided to give a try to translating the songs from Angelo’s FAUST album. Here comes the first one. I will be posting the Kanji, Romaji and my attempt to translation of each song. This is a practice for myself, so I apologize for any mistakes. This song was composed by Karyu. All lyrics by Kirito.

Translation notes: according to what Kirito explained about the concept of FAUST album, I feel this song is presented from the point of view of Mephisto, regardless of how much time passes by, story always repeat itself somehow, and Mephisto is ready to play with the human (Faust I suppose) and give him what he wishes for, this is the “comedy” of life, and it’s obvious the human went along with it because the logic was lost and there is guilt and the/his world is somewhat destroyed by his decisions; but ends with a ray of hope in that last paragraph, which give us the idea that there’s still hope for this human that fell into Mephisto’s traps.
