It seems this year we have some surprises already, one of the most controversial one is the announcement of a project called “ANDROGYNOS” which is a collaboration between Dir en Grey and… PIERROT… yes, PIERROT ! As a former fan of PIERROT I have mixed feelings about this announcement.
So, let’s try to understand a bit the idea behind this, according to their announcement, this is going to be a project like no other.. the PIERROT fanclub Arlequin will reopen (again) in 1/20, and this project is relevant because during the time PIERROT was famous, Dir en Grey was considered kind of a rival band, and the fans of both bands didn’t get along very well, you know that type of rivalry between bands; but now they are going to be friends and do a project together, which I suppose it will be a couple of live dates.. I am not sure if they are planning to do releases together, that will be a bit scary in my opinion.

About the name of the project “Androgynos” I really don’t know what to expect, will they be wearing androgynous looks for this project? No idea whatsoever about the meaning of this.. but we’ll see as the announcements come out.
I am also not sure what this means for Angelo, which is current Kirito’s band, but I hope they don’t disband.
